Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia is the federal body for engineers involved with local government. Its members are the state and territory IPWEA associations.
In July 2008, NFP Analysts facilitated a meeting of federal and state executive officers. NFP Analysts facilitated the Board’s Planning Day in February 2009.
